ClientBase Release Notes October 2026: File Viewer & Cloud Uploads

Version 3.8 · Released 1 October 2026. This update brings a new file viewer, cloud uploads, Registered Office public links, and more.

File Viewer

Files now open in a two-panel viewer, with a full-height document preview on one side and the file's details, metadata, notes, and actions on the other. You can also share multiple files at once by email.

Cloud Uploads

You can now upload files directly from Google Drive and OneDrive, alongside your local storage, so attachments come straight from wherever you keep them.

Registered Office Public Links

The Registered Office module now supports public shareable links, so authorized external users can securely access and submit the information you need without logging in.

Contract Reminders

Services now support contract renewal and expiry reminders, with start dates, renewal dates, and expiry tracking, so you stay ahead of every deadline.

Smarter AML

AML reviews are faster this cycle. You can upload a Business Profile directly within the AML workflow, the CDD form now auto-populates from your existing Entity and People data, and Request and AML file uploads sync automatically into the right Entity or People records.

Complete Exports

Exporting is more thorough now. Excel and PDF exports include every available data field for a record, so nothing is left behind, ideal for audits and handovers.

Filters

New Group and Tag filters help you narrow long lists quickly, and tags now appear beneath your jobs for easier scanning.

Everyday Improvements

A few changes to keep your day running smoothly. Notes fields now support multi-line text for longer descriptions, your language preference is selected automatically based on nationality, identity fields captured during bulk upload are editable, and residential and contact addresses can be chosen from your entity's address list.

Smaller Touches

You can now add new preferred communication options when the one you need is not listed, and contact number and email address are editable directly in View People.
